Former Owls goalkeeper Arron Jameson will cycle from Hillsborough to MK Dons this weekend to raise vital funds for his son Jude.
Three-year-old Jude was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, last year and his family are seeking treatment in the USA when his initial care in the UK is complete.
Arron and his wife Lucy were told that even if Jude’s initial treatment is successful, there is a high risk of relapse, prompting them to seek further care in America to lessen those chances.
The ex-Wednesday shot-stopper will take on the 120-mile bike ride ahead of our clash with the Dons on Saturday.
Arron is due to arrive at StadiumMK - where he made his debut for the Owls in November 2010 - ahead of kick-off!
Through all the fundraising so far, a staggering total of over £172,000 has been raised but there is still some way to go with £236,000 the target.

Meanwhile, there will be a minute’s applause in the 24th minute on Saturday for Lucy Dawson.
Lucy passed away in May from a short and unexpected illness.
Lucy was a Season Ticket holder at MK Dons from an early age and went on to work for the club in several positions, including within the media department, hospitality and events.
Our thoughts are with Lucy’s family, friends and colleagues at StadiumMK.
RIP Lucy.
