With four wins from five games in all competitions, November was a strong month for the Owls.
Darren Moore’s side began November with a 2-0 win over Morecambe, with goals coming from Josh Windass and Alex Mighten.
Next up came our only defeat of the month away at Southampton in the Carabao Cup.
The tie went all the way to penalties after the two sides could not be separated at St Mary’s.
Windass was again on target against the Premier League outfit before James Ward-Prowse levelled from the spot.
Wednesday then posted back-to-back 1-0 league wins over Accrington (a) and Shrewsbury (h).
Mighten and Mark McGuinness hitting the back of the net on those occasions.
To round off November, the Owls came from behind in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup against Mansfield to advance in the competition with a 2-1 win.
Michael Smith came off the bench to score twice to turn the tie on its head and set up a third round date with Newcastle.
