We keep going, keep building

5 December 2022

The Owls’ unbeaten league run extended to eight games over the weekend at Derby.

A goalless draw – our first of the season – at Pride Park was a fair result from the early Saturday kick-off.

It was Wednesday’s third consecutive clean sheet in League One and Reece James says many positives can be taken from the game as we now look forward to Exeter.

“We’ve got to keep going and keep building on the momentum,” he told swfc.co.uk.

“Saturday was another clean sheet for us, a good away point and we have to keep moving forward and look to the Exeter game now.

“We’ve been working on a lot of things defensively in training, we stick together and make sure we give the attackers the best chance we can to win the game.

“But it’s a team game, a team effort, it starts from the front and works all the way back so it’s something we’ve got to keep building on and keep priding ourselves on keeping clean sheets.

“If we want promotion this season then that’s the type of form we need to build on and keep going.”
