Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme is looking to appoint Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders for their Summer NCS programmes.
The successful candidates will be youth-focused and energetic with a passion for working with young people.
The programmes are two weeks in duration and require a one-week residential stay.
NCS is a voluntary programme for 16–17-year-olds that promotes:
• A more cohesive society
• A more responsible society by supporting the transition into adulthood for young people
• A more engaged society by enabling young people to work together to create social action projects in their communities
The aim is to provide a space for young people to explore who they are and who they want to be.
Making young people feel at home regardless of their background, supporting them to step outside of their comfort zone, meet new people and raise voices together to make a positive difference in the local community.
