The Owls are pleased to report a fantastic response to our recent recruitment drive for casual matchday staff.
Over 60 new starters were signed up on our enrolment evening last Thursday, with an extra night to follow this evening at 6:00pm.
The event will take place here at Hillsborough (in an air conditioned room!).
All our casual matchday staff, regardless of age, will be paid a minimum of £9.50 per hour for the new season ahead. Even if you are under 23, you will still receive the national living wage of £9.50 per hour.
Earlier this year, the Government raised the threshold to £9.50 for 23s and over, but SWFC are committed to offering similar remuneration for similar work.
We aim to help the local people of our community gain employment and experience in our bustling environment and hope this increased pay structure will bring an influx of new talent to Hillsborough.
The club are currently recruiting on matchdays for:
- Stewards
- Hospitality & catering staff
- Bar staff
Be it your first job, or just the chance to earn some extra cash, we would love to hear from you. Please note the minimum age for all positions is 16 and 18 for stewarding roles.
No experience is required as full training will be provided. All we ask is that you are a team player with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
