Liam Palmer’s ‘10k a day for Jude in June’ reaches its conclusion on Thursday and there will be a grand finale to round off the challenge – and you can get involved!
Every day throughout June, Palmer has run 10 kilometres to raise funds for a very special cause.
Three-year-old Jude Mellon-Jameson, son of ex-Owls goalkeeper Arron Jameson, is receiving treatment for high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer and Jude’s family are looking to raise £350,000 for an experimental course of therapy in America.
Palmer has committed himself to running 10k each day, whether it be at the club’s training ground, on holiday or at home with the aim of receiving donations into Jude’s fund.

His 10k a day challenge has raised over £4,000 but Palmer is not quite finished yet!
The final run will take place on Thursday after Darren Moore’s squad have completed a double training session.
Liam will top up the mileage from training with the boys over at Hillsborough Park at 5.00pm!
Arron will run the final lap with close friend Liam, Jude will be in attendance and supporters are welcome to bring their running boots and join in too!
Whether you come down and run the final stretch or simply stand by the finish line and cheer them on, every little bit of support will help!
