Barry Bannan’s wonder strike against Cheltenham is in the running for the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month award.
The Wednesday captain unleashed an unstoppable hit into the top corner at the Kop end to make sure of the three points at Hillsborough in early October.
Bannan is now on a shortlist of four to bag the Goal of the Month trophy!
The winner will be decided by a supporters’ vote, which closes on Monday 21 November at 5:00pm.
