The Owls host Shrewsbury on Saturday looking to extend our unbeaten league run to seven games.

A further incentive is the potential to break into the top two automatic promotions places, depending on results elsewhere.

Our visitors meanwhile occupy 14th slot and are without a league success in their last five outings.

There was respite in the FA Cup, though, as Shrewsbury beat National League side York City 2-1 on home soil.

TEAM NEWS
Wednesday: Darren Moore has no fresh injury concerns for the Shrews clash.

Ben Heneghan is the only long-term absentee, while Dennis Adeniran is expected to be sidelined for around a further two weeks.

Akin Famewo is back training with the squad and could feature for the Under-21s’ trip to Wigan next Tuesday.

Shrewsbury: Influential defender Elliott Bennett suffered an injury blow against Oxford earlier this month and could be out for up to three months.

Aiden O’Brien and Julien Da Costa remain in the recovery room and will miss the visit to Hillsborough.

The same is true for Daniel Udoh and George Nurse, who continue their respective recoveries from knee surgery.
