The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme are delighted to host ‘An Evening with Phil King’ here at Hillsborough.
The event will take place on Thursday 24 November, when we welcome back ‘Kingy’ to S6. The defender played 129 games for the Owls in a five-year stint from 1989-1994.
The Bristol product was part of Ron Atkinson’s team that sealed a dramatic double back in 1991, achieving promotion to the top tier and lifting the League Cup along the way at Wembley.
BBC Radio Sheffield’s Rob Staton will host the evening in the 1867 Lounge. Arrival time is 6:45pm.
All proceeds raised will go directly to the Community Programme, the charitable arm of the football club.
