THE MATCH

Wednesday are back on the road this weekend heading south to Cambridge.

The Owls travel to Abbey Stadium in strong form with three wins from the last four League One outings.

A convincing 3-0 win over Cheltenham last weekend saw us bounce back immediately after the midweek defeat at Plymouth.

In terms of the league standings, Wednesday are third in League One, four points behind Ipswich and five from leaders Plymouth.

Cambridge have endured a tough run of late and are looking to avoid a fourth successive defeat on Saturday as the Owls come to town.

Mark Bonner’s side sit 14th in the table.

Wednesday: Dominic Iorfa is a doubt after sustaining an impact injury in training this week.

Reece James remains sidelined after picking up an injury during our 2-1 defeat at Plymouth.

George Byers and Mallik Wilks have continued their recovery on the training ground this week at Middlewood Road.

Akin Famewo and Dennis Adeniran continue with their respective rehabilitation programmes.

Cambridge: Midfielder Adam May picked up a knee injury last time out and is a doubt for the weekend.
