Liam Palmer is enjoying an incredible campaign on a personal front.
With performance levels consistently high, goals and individual awards going his way, the boyhood Wednesdayite is having a season to remember.
Back in August, the 31-year-old made his 350th appearance for the Owls away at Bolton and capped the landmark occasion with a goal in our 2-0 win at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Two months (and two more goals) later and the Worksop-born defender has entered our top 20 list of all-time appearance makers!
Palmer, on 358 Wednesday appearances, is now level with legendary striker David Hirst in joint 20th.
No doubt the in-form Owls ace will be looking to rise even further and rack up those appearances as the 2022/23 campaign continues.
Here’s our top 20 list which shows plenty of scope for Palmer to rise even further this season!
Fantastic, Liam! Keep it going!
