The young Foxes are one of 16 invited Under-21 teams from Premier League clubs with a Category One academy status.
With defeats so far at the group stage to Burton and Bradford, qualification to the knockout rounds is out of reach for Wednesday.
Leicester could still qualify but need a victory in S6 and the result to go their way in the clash between Bradford and Burton.
Darren Moore is likely to make several changes to the squad for the S6 cup-tie and team news will be at 6:00pm.
