Shrewsbury v Wednesday
Saturday 29 April
3:00pm
League One
Montgomery Waters Meadow
THE MATCH
It’s a pivotal weekend for Wednesday as we travel to Shrewsbury for the penultimate League One round of fixtures.
Nothing less than three points will do, with eyes elsewhere too as promotion rivals Plymouth and Ipswich host Burton and Exeter respectively.
Any slip from the Pilgrims or the Tractor Boys will take the race for the Championship to the final day in the event of an Owls win.
TEAM NEWS
Wednesday: Darren Moore confirmed Akin Famewo and Mallik Wilks will sit out the rest of the season during his pre-match media conference.
Josh Windass is back on the grass in training and continues to be monitored.
Shrewsbury: The Shropshire side are in the midst of an injury crisis, with a raft of players unavailable.
Such is the impact, Shrewsbury were limited to only nine senior outfield players for their recent home defeat to Plymouth.
