Wednesday v Blackburn
Saturday 2 December
The Owls are in S6 action for the second time this week following our 1-1 draw with Leicester on Wednesday evening.
Jeff Hendrick’s last-ditch finish earned Danny Röhl’s side a deserved point against the league leaders.
Blackburn make the trip from Lancashire on Saturday in confident mood, winning four of their last six league games, ranking them fifth in the Championship form table.
Rovers sit seventh in the actual league standings, two points off Hull in the play-off places.
Wednesday will be equally confident given our strong display against the Foxes in midweek, with performances under Röhl continuing to improve.
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY
As always, we remind supporters to arrive early to avoid unnecessary queues on matchday.
Please scan the barcode on entry, not the QR code on your Season Card.
Wednesday: With just two full days between matches, Röhl could shuffle his pack from the side that lined up against Leicester.
Josh Windass is back available as he returns from a one-match suspension.
Röhl confirmed Mallik Wilks faces a spell on the sidelines through injury, with Michael Smith is also doubtful to return this weekend.
Blackburn: The visitors will be without Tyrhys Dolan who suffered a knee injury in Rovers’ midweek win over Birmingham.
The forward joins teammates Aynsley Pears, Sam Barnes, Dom Hyam, Joe Rankin-Costello, Ryan Hedges, Niall Ennis and Sam Gallagher on the list of absentees through injury for Saturday.
Midfielder Lewis Travis also misses out through suspension, after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign against the Blues.
The Owls' Championship game against Blackburn on Saturday is our official Rainbow Laces fixture in partnership with Stonewall.

LOVE FOOTBALL, PROTECT THE GAME
The EFL, Premier League, FA, FSA, PGMOL, LMA and PFA have come together this season to implement a series of measures to address behaviour across the game.
This includes new policies, procedures, and regulations to eradicate unacceptable conduct on the pitch, on the sidelines and in the stands.
The new measures build on the work launched last season to combat dangerous and illegal fan behaviour, supported by the ‘Love Football. Protect the Game’ football-wide campaign.
