Josh Windass has been nominated for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award for January.
The forward started 2023 in perfect fashion, netting a hat-trick against Cambridge during a 5-0 victory for Wednesday.
Windass put in another man of the match display against Premier League Newcastle in January, hitting a brace in our 2-1 win to send the Owls through to round four of the Emirates FA Cup.
The 29-year-old also laid on an assist for Marvin Johnson as Wednesday beat Fleetwood 1-0 at Hillsborough in the opening month of the year.
Windass has also been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award.
