Josh Windass has won the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award for January.
The forward picks up the trophy after coming out on top of the public vote following an excellent start to 2023.
Windass scored a hat-trick in our first game of the New Year against Cambridge as Wednesday ran out 5-0 winners at Hillsborough.
The 29-year-old was hugely influential as the Owls knocked Premier League Newcastle out of the Emirates FA Cup, netting a brace against the Magpies in front of the BBC Sport cameras.
Wednesday have now won the coveted PFA award in back-to-back months, after Marvin Johnson was crowned December’s victor.
