Emirates FA Cup fourth round replay

THE MATCH

For the fourth time in 2022/23 the Owls and Fleetwood will lock horns this evening.

A place in the fifth round of the competition is at stake with a tie away at either Burnley or Ipswich, whose replay also takes place tonight at Turf Moor.

The Owls are flying on all fronts and without defeat since early October, while Fleetwood have suffered four straight losses in League One.

TEAM NEWS

Wednesday: Callum Paterson will miss out after pulling up with injury in our 1-0 win over Plymouth on Saturday.

Paterson scored the only goal of the game against the Pilgrims to fire the Owls into top spot but went down with injury in the second half and was replaced by Jack Hunt.

With fixtures coming thick and fast and a key League One clash against Ipswich on the horizon, manager Darren Moore may opt to mix things up in terms of team selection.

Fleetwood: Darnell Johnson remains sidelined with a long term injury.

Club captain Josh Vela was sent off on Saturday as the Cod Army slipped to a 3-2 home defeat against Burton.

Striker Jayden Stockley scored on his debut at the weekend but will not feature this evening having already represented Charlton in the competition this season.

EXTRA TIME AND PENALTIES

In the event of a draw after 90 minutes, the tie will go to extra time and then penalties if required.

TICKET NEWS

The game is sold out to visiting supporters.
