Wednesday v MK Dons
Saturday 18 February
3:00pm
League One
Hillsborough
SUPPORTER CONDUCT
The club are extremely disappointed to report that objects - namely plastic bottles and a pyrotechnic - were thrown towards the field of play during recent home games against Fleetwood Town and Plymouth Argyle and our away fixture at Ipswich Town.
We would stress in the strictest tone that any individual proven to have perpetrated such an act will face the maximum possible sanctions in line with EFL Ground Regulations and the Chairman's Charter.
We remind supporters once again that this behaviour is completely unacceptable and with the aid of CCTV imagery, Sheffield Wednesday will not hesitate to exercise our zero tolerance policy.
While such incidents are isolated and very much in the minority, they are not and never will be tolerated, whether following the Owls home or away.
EFL Ground Regulations can be found HERE.
Under the banner of ‘Love Football. Protect The Game’ the FA, Premier League and EFL have together introduced new measures and stronger sanctions across the game to tackle the increased anti-social, discriminatory and criminal behaviours seen within football grounds.

THE MATCH
For the second time in a week the Owls are back at Hillsborough with MK Dons the opposition on Saturday.
Wednesday continued our outstanding run in League One in midweek by easing past Morecambe 3-0. The victory saw the Owls maintain our spot in the automatic promotion spots and set a new club record for clean sheets in a single league campaign.
Boasting the meanest defence in the division, Darren Moore’s side haven’t conceded a goal in the league at Hillsborough since late October.
Wednesday picked up three points in the reverse fixture with MK Dons in early August. A Josh Windass penalty settled the clash at Stadium:mk.
The Dons reached the play-offs in League One last season but have endured a difficult 2022/23 campaign.
A 5-0 defeat at Bolton in midweek did nothing to ease relegation concerns at the club as MK head to Hillsborough on Saturday one point outside the drop zone.
TEAM NEWS
Wednesday: There is positive news for the Owls ahead of Saturday’s S6 clash. Lee Gregory, Reece James, Dominic Iorfa and Jack Hunt could all be involved at Hillsborough.
George Byers has been passed fit to play after picking up a knock in midweek against Morecambe. The gaffer confirmed Byers will be in the squad.
Mallik Wilks (muscle) is sidelined and will not be available.
MK Dons: There are no fresh injury concerns for our visitors this weekend.
Nathan Holland (thigh) returned to action in midweek.
Ethan Robson and Dean Lewington (both hamstring) are making good progress but are unlikely to be ready for the weekend.
Joshua Kayode (thigh) and Warren O’Hora (foot) are out for the remainder of 2022/23.
