Darren Moore and Josh Windass have been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager and Player of the Month awards for January respectively.
The duo are in the running after a strong opening month to 2023, in which the Owls were undefeated in all competitions.
Darren Moore led Wednesday to three league victories over Cambridge (5-0), Wycombe (1-0) and Fleetwood (1-0) in January.
The Owls also progressed in the FA Cup, beating Premier League Newcastle 2-1 at Hillsborough before drawing 1-1 with Fleetwood to set up a replay in round four.
Windass started 2023 in fine form, scoring a hat trick against Cambridge as Wednesday beat the U’s 5-0 in our first game of the New Year.
Four days later, the 29-year-old bagged a brace against the Magpies to seal a memorable victory for Wednesday in the FA Cup.
Darren Moore is nominated alongside Derek Adams (Morecambe), Steve Cotterill (Shrewsbury) and Paul Warne (Derby) for the manager’s prize.
Whilst Windass’ competition includes Dion Charles (Bolton), Scott Fraser (Charlton) and Luke Leahy (Shrewsbury).
The winners will be decided by an EFL panel and announced on Friday 10 February.
