International Women's Day 2023

8 March 2023

As we mark International Women’s Day 2023, the Owls join the football family in propagating the message that every supporter should feel valued and welcome.

We are of the firm belief that everyone following Wednesday, home and away, should do so safe in the knowledge that their opinion will be valued as much as the next person.

The club are proud to be part of and champion the #HerGameToo movement, founded by 12 passionate female football fans who remain committed to growing the campaign with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which females of all ages are welcomed and respected equally.

The non-profit organisation aims to create awareness, educate, research, develop a strong sense of community and create strong relationships with all stakeholders in football.

Would you like to work with us on new ideas and initiatives to create a safer space for women in football?
