Darren Moore insists the whole Wednesday camp will shake off the defeat to Forest Green Rovers and focus all efforts on bouncing back in midweek.
The Owls are back in Gloucestershire on Wednesday night at Cheltenham and the gaffer is expecting a much-improved performance.
Moore said: “Sometimes in football you have to say you didn’t deserve anything and I think that was the case today.
“We had a lot of the ball but we didn’t get into the right areas or do the right things with the ball.
“Credit to Forest Green, they had a really good shape and defended very well. They made it very difficult for us but that’s what you get at this stage of the season when teams are fighting for their lives.”
Moore stressed there was no hint of complacency as the Owls faced the team propping up the division:
“Absolutely not. The preparation was exactly the same, the intensity, the mentality and the mindset.
“But it’s important we look forward and we all stick together on and off the pitch. The players have to put their anger and disappointment into the next few days as we prepare for Cheltenham.”
