Darren Moore has won the League Managers Association Utilita Performance of the Week award following the Owls’ sensational victory over Peterborough last week.
Wednesday were 4-0 behind after the League One play-off semi-final, first leg against Posh, leaving the hosts with a mountain to climb in the return fixture at Hillsborough.
However, Moore rallied his men and goals from Michael Smith, Lee Gregory, Reece James and Liam Palmer sent the S6 crowd into raptures with the tie going to extra time.
Peterborough retook the lead on aggregate following a Gregory own goal, but Callum Paterson was on hand to level once again.
The Owls were victorious in the penalty shootout to book our place at Wembley for a South Yorkshire derby clash against Barnsley in the play-off final.
Congratulations, gaffer!
