Owls v Leicester
Wednesday 29 November

The Owls host league-leaders Leicester City this evening at Hillsborough.

It’s top v bottom as the Foxes head to S6 aiming to strengthen their grip on an automatic promotion spot.

Our visitors look set for an immediate return to the Premier League after winning 14 of their 17 league games this season.

Equally as strong on their travels as at home, Leicester have posted seven wins on the road this season and are 10 points clear of third-placed West Brom with a game in hand.

With that in mind it will be a tough test for the Owls, who head into the contest as firm underdogs.

Performances and stats across the board are heading in the right direction under manager Danny Röhl and the key now over the Christmas fixtures is to turn those performances into points.

As always, we remind supporters to arrive early to avoid unnecessary queues on matchday.

Please scan the barcode on entry, not the QR code on your Season Card.

The Hillsborough light show will illuminate the stadium as the players emerge from the tunnel before kick-off.

*Due to the speed and frequency of the light intermittence, we strongly advise anyone with a photosensitive disorder to show caution before entering the stadium.

Wednesday: Josh Windass is suspended, while Callum Paterson comes back into contention after serving his one-match ban.

Mallik Wilks will be pushing for another start after an encouraging display away at Birmingham on Saturday, while young striker Bailey Cadamarteri could once again be involved.

Michael Smith remains doubtful through injury after missing out again at St Andrew’s.

Leicester: Harry Winks is back for the Foxes after missing the 2-0 win over Watford through suspension.

Jamie Vardy could be handed a start after scoring twice from the bench against the Hornets on Saturday.

The visitors have no fresh injury concerns.

The EFL, Premier League, FA, FSA, PGMOL, LMA and PFA have come together this season to implement a series of measures to address behaviour across the game.

This includes new policies, procedures, and regulations to eradicate unacceptable conduct on the pitch, on the sidelines and in the stands.

The new measures build on the work launched last season to combat dangerous and illegal fan behaviour, supported by the ‘Love Football. Protect the Game’ football-wide campaign.
