Liam Palmer and Chris Powell joined Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme to support Show Racism the Red Card this week.
The Owls duo warmly welcomed over 90 children from primary schools across Sheffield to Hillsborough for an important workshop delivered by the anti-racism charity.
Youngsters were treated to a tour of Hillsborough before a surprise visit from Palmer and Assistant Coach Powell, who worked with children to design anti-hate crime posters.
The pair also spoke of their own experiences of racism, the negative impact it has on society and the need to stamp it out at first base.
Brett Pitcher, Community Coach at SWFCCP, said: "It was absolutely brilliant to see Chris and Liam supporting the event.
“Educating children at this young age is crucial in building a stronger and more inclusive future."
