The Owls Under-18s fell to a 2-1 defeat on the road against Coventry on Saturday.
Young striker Devlan Moses continued his fine run of form in front of goal but his second half finish from close range was not enough to salvage anything from the game at The Alan Higgs Centre.
Our Under-18s are back in action at home on Saturday where they host Crewe at Middlewood Road (11:30am).
The defeat against the Sky Blues leaves Wednesday third in the table with 13 points from seven games.
