A trio of new Owls recruits were on international duty on Tuesday night and in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

In South America, Chile took on Colombia in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier, with Juan Delgado and Devis Vasquez in the respective camps.

The contest ended in a hard-fought stalemate, with Delgado entering proceedings as a substitute to earn his 14th cap with 13 minutes to go, while Vasquez watched on as Camilo Vargas posted his second successive clean sheet.

Meanwhile, in Kingston, Di’Shon Bernard added a sixth cap to his name as he came from the bench to help Jamaica seal a point against Haiti.

The CONCACAF Nations League tie was heading the way of Haiti as they went into a 2-0 lead before Jamaica clawed the score back to 2-2.

Delgado, Vasquez and Bernard now head back to S6 as Wednesday resume in the Championship against Ipswich at Hillsborough.
