Will Vaulks named PFA Player in the Community

15 April 2024

Will Vaulks has been named the PFA Player in the Community on Sunday night's 2024 EFL Awards ceremony in London.

This is the third time that Will has received this award having continued to go over and above what is typically expected from players in their involvement in community activities during the season.

Will won the award for his strong and supportive connection to the Club’s Community Organisation work and his wider charitable commitments including the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice which he visits regularly, and the role he played in executing The Baton of Hope relay for mental health awareness.

Will’s attitude and dedication makes him a true role model to others.

Speaking after collecting the award, Will said: “It’s really important we raise awareness for off the pitch matters, it’s nice to be recognised and win an award for the things that mean a lot to me.

“What we do off the pitch is so important, as footballers we have a platform to give back, and I’m really grateful I can do that.”
