The winter transfer window slammed shut on Thursday evening and manager Danny Röhl says all focus now is on moving forward together and fighting hard to achieve the goals.
It has been a relentless period for the boss during the window, preparing the team for crucial fixtures while building his squad for the battles that lay ahead.
Ian Poveda and Kristian Pedersen were added to the squad on deadline day, making it four new additions in total with James Beadle and Iké Ugbo joining earlier in January.
“We always want to play between the lines and we think young Poveda has good movements, good situations he can solve for us, he is a good player, has good quality, individual quality.
“Especially in the final third for smart passes and we are pleased to have him.
“With Pedersen we get an experienced defender and it is good we have this kind of player here.
“Henrik (Pedersen) knows him very well and this was helpful for us and for me to make a decision.”
Wednesday head to relegation rivals Huddersfield on Saturday looking to cut the gap to safety.
“We have a big game coming up and it is about going forward now which is important,” the manager continued.
“We tried everything, we worked hard, bringing players in is not always easy so now we have it, our biggest goal now is to stay in the league, get out of the relegation zone.
“Everybody is clear on who is part of our team now, it has also not been easy for the players but from my side, we have our group and now for the next three months we will do everything possible for our goals.
“We have taken good results and shown we can do it and I have a big belief in this group.
“We will take all this energy and move forward. It is a big challenge, but we must all do it together.
“As manager in front of the group, I will lift us every day and show my belief and conviction and hopefully we can achieve our goals.”
