It’s another vital week in the season for the Owls.
A home game with Watford on Wednesday night is first up followed by a huge clash at Huddersfield on Saturday.
After back-to-back defeats in the Championship against Southampton and Coventry, Danny Röhl’s side put a halt to that run in the Emirates FA Cup on Friday night.
Djeidi Gassama struck a late leveller at Hillsborough against the Sky Blues to send the fourth round tie to a replay.
It was a deserved equaliser for the Owls, who now have a second shot at making it to round five.
More importantly for the manager, was avoiding defeat and seeing his side fight back to earn something from the game, as he explained:
“This is our basic to have this at home, hopefully we will have a lot of supporters in the stadium to create a good energy.
“We need our intensity and the supporters can help with this, if we can do this and be on the front foot with the supporters right behind us.
“You have the energy, you can press, win balls, create chances and this is our style of football.
“We took a good step forward on Friday, we wanted to make a good game to help create a new momentum.
“We know now we have two important games, first with Watford and then Huddersfield.
“It is an important week, we invest a lot, we fight, our mentality is right and this is what we must continue to do.”
