Wednesday v Coventry City
Saturday 20 January
The Owls are back on home soil, preparing for back-to-back games against Coventry.
The Sky Blues visit S6 next Friday in the Emirates FA Cup but first up is Saturday’s Championship clash at Hillsborough.
Mark Robins’ side are in good form, winning five of their last six in league and cup, with last weekend’s home win over leaders Leicester taking the hosts into play-off territory.
For Wednesday, we are out to resume the impressive form of six wins from nine prior to the defeat at promotion-chasing Southampton.
Wednesday: New recruits James Beadle and Iké Ugbo are pressing for maiden outings, while George Byers is available having served a three-match suspension.
Danny Röhl reported a good week’s work in training, with the only absentee being Callum Paterson, who misses out at the weekend with a knee injury.
Coventry: Coventry have reported no fresh concerns but leading scorer Haji Wright, who sustained an abductor injury on New Year’s Day against Middlesbrough, is set to remain sidelined.
