Nicky Weaver returned to Hillsborough in September 2014, originally taking up the role of academy goalkeeping coach.
Following the departure of Andy Rhodes to Oldham, Weaver took on first team duties, after working closely with the senior squad throughout the 2018/19 pre-season.
Weaver is now Head of Academy Goalkeeping at Hillsborough.
During his playing career, the ex-Manchester City man made 54 appearances in two separate stints for the Owls, during a near two-decade career between the sticks.
