Darren Moore bolstered his coaching staff in August 2021 with the appointment of the vastly experienced Simon Ireland.
The former midfielder, who represented a raft of clubs across a 15-year playing career, joined the Owls ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Ireland brings a wealth of knowledge to Hillsborough off the field having headed up academy operations and first team coaching roles at QPR and Nottingham Forest.
