The Owls signed Dutch forward Sylla Sow on a permanent contract in August 2021.
The 25-year-old began his career with FC Utrecht in the top division of the Netherlands.
He won the Under-21s Eredivisie with Utrecht’s young side before switching to fellow Dutch top flight outfit RKC Waalwijk in January 2019.
Sow spent two years with Waalwijk, playing nearly 50 games before leaving at the end of the 2020/21 season.
