Where can I buy a 2017/18 Season Ticket?
You can renew your 2016/17 Season Ticket at the Sheffield Wednesday Online Shop, in person at the Owls Megastore or by telephone on 03700 201867 (option 1).
2016/17 Owls Members can purchase their Season Tickets in the same way.
Can I buy now if I am not a 2016/17 Season Ticket holder or Member?
Not currently, but you will be able to from the dates highlighted below.
How can I buy a Season Ticket if I’m not a Season Ticket holder or Member?
You can purchase from Thursday 15 June until Monday 3 July, we advise supporters to buy at the earliest opportunity as sales will stop should the Season Ticket cap be reached.
Why are Season Tickets capped?
Following the exceptionally high uptake of 2016/17 Season Tickets and the large Membership base, coupled with the expected demand, Season Tickets will be capped to allow us to keep a percentage of seats available for match by match sales in line with the relevant rulings.
When is the Season Ticket deadline?
Monday 3 July at 5.00pm in store and midnight online.
Can I buy a Season Ticket after the deadline?
No, this is the final opportunity to purchase a 2017/18 Season Ticket.
How long do I have to renew my current seat?
2016/17 Season Ticket holders have until 5.00pm on Tuesday 13 June to claim their seat, after this date all unsold seats will be made available.
I have already purchased a Season Ticket, can I move seats?
Yes, there will be no Season Ticket sales on Wednesday 14 June and this represents an ideal time to explore any opportunities to switch seats. If you move once and your Season Cards have been printed, there will be a £10 charge.
What payment options are available for Season Tickets?
Supporters can pay at the time of purchase by cash, cheque, credit or debit cards.
We also have finance options available to supporters.
This season, we have a finance option with V12 Retail Finance which is payable over six months with an arrangement fee. The arrangement fee is 6.25% of the basket total and is payable on the first payment.
Supporters should note that credit checks are made during the application process.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by AMEX.
What happens if I choose to pay on the finance option?
You need to complete your purchase online or in the Owls Megastore. Your application is processed immediately and a decision will be made if you are successful or not after the application. Supporters who apply online can electronically sign their agreement. Supporters who apply in store, once accepted will have their agreement emailed which they will then need to electronically sign.
When is the first payment taken?
The first payment including arrangement fee is taken 30 days after signing up.
What happens if I miss a payment?
V12 Retail Finance will contact you to arrange an alternative form of payment. If you are unable to pay within 14 days, your Season Ticket card may be cancelled and no refunds will be due. Your card cannot at this point be reactivated. Prior to this, our partners will always attempt to call you and send you a letter to advise that your payment has failed and how to make an alternative payment.
Can I pay off the amount borrowed at any time in full?
Yes. This can be done by contacting V12 Retail Finance to make the necessary arrangements. There is no charge for paying off any outstanding balance early.
Is the nine months interest free option available for supporters with an Owls Mastercard?
Yes, this is still available.
What are the various cut-off points for concessionary tickets?
Children must be within the given age bracket (under 11, or under 17) on 5 August 2017.
Senior citizens must have reached their 65th birthday by 5 August 2017.
Under 21s must be aged between 17 and 20 on 5 August 2017 to be eligible for the under 21 discount.
Under 25s must be aged between 21 and 24 on 5 August 2017 to be eligible for the Under 25 discount.
Full time students, armed forces and disabled supporters are eligible for our discounted concession Season Tickets.
Supporters purchasing a Concession Season Ticket must remain in the category throughout the season as proof of concession will be subject to random checks on matchdays.
If your status should change mid-season, you will need to visit the Owls Megastore to upgrade your Season Ticket.
If a supporter who is a Concession Season Ticket holder cannot prove their eligibility at any requested time, their Season Ticket will be cancelled with no refund given.
What forms of ID do I need to claim my Concessionary tickets?
You will be required to provide proof of eligibility in the form of one piece of photographic ID (passport, driving licence, bus pass, student offer confirmation) and confirmation of eligibility such as:
• Age concessions - birth certificate
• Armed Forces – current forces card
• Existing full time students – letter from your university/college outlining you are studying full time.
• Applying full time students - offer letter from college or university.
If my circumstances change and I become eligible for a concession category, can I get a refund?
Season Tickets are non-refundable and as such no discounts will be given for supporters who change category.
How do I become verified for a Concession Season Ticket?
- Visit the Owls Ticket Office with the relevant proof of concession as listed above.
- Email your proof of eligibility to email@example.com. We will then amend your account so you can access concession prices online and in-store. You will receive email confirmation once your account has been updated and you can then purchase your Season Ticket.
How are disabled Season Tickets priced?
Ambulant disabled supporters will pay the applicable concession price in the respective stand they choose. Wheelchair supporters within the North and West Stand disabled area will pay the Kop concession price. Disabled supporters will continue to receive free entry for a carer if claiming mid to high rate DLA for mobility and care or the enhanced daily rate for PIP. Junior disabled supporters will pay the relevant junior concession prices for their respective stand.
How do I renew my disabled Season Ticket?
Disabled Season Tickets can be purchased from the Ticket Office at any time during our advertised opening hours. Proof of eligibility will be required to process your order, even if this was shown last season.
What confirmation will I receive once I book my Season Ticket?
If you book online, you will receive email confirmation. Supporters who book in the Ticket Office will be issued with a receipt and those who book by telephone will have their receipt sent out by post if requested.
Will I receive a new Season Ticket card or should I continue to use my current card?
All supporters will receive a new card for the 2017/18 season, including those supporters who purchased a two or three-year Season Ticket during the 2016 Advance Saver Scheme.
When will Season Tickets be printed?
We will be printing after the Season Ticket deadline on 3 July, towards the end of July we will announce details of collection/postage of Season Tickets
If I can’t make a game can someone else use my Season Ticket?
No, Season Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the supporter named on the Season Card.
How many Ticket Priority Points will I receive?
All supporters will receive 230 at the start of July.
What if I lose my Season Ticket Card during the Season?
You can get a replacement from the Ticket Office, there is a £10 charge for lost season tickets.
*REPRESENTATIVE EXAMPLE: If one adult season ticket purchased at a cash price and amount of credit of £505.00 would be repaid by 1 monthly payment of £115.73 (which includes arrangement fee of 6.25%), followed by 5 monthly payments of £84.17. The rate of interest is 0% per annum; the total amount payable is £536.56 and the total charge for credit is £26.98. Representative 14.87% APR.
