It was seven years ago today when former Owls midfielder Phil O’Donnell played a game of football and tragically died whilst just doing the thing he loved to do.
O’Donnell was playing for Motherwell and suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch.
It claimed his life.
Phil was survived by his wife Eileen and four children Megan, Olivia, Christopher and Luc.
