Sam Hutchinson has thanked Owls fans after being voted the club’s Player of the Month for the third time this season.
The 27-year-old scooped the December award by gaining 85% of the fans’ vote via the official website, swfc.co.uk.
Hutchinson was also voted as the August and October winner this season.
Prior to the Owls’ 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday, the ex-Chelsea man was presented with his trophy.
Owls supporters Tony and Millie, who recently discovered the club’s Golden Ticket in our Wolves matchday programme, were on hand to present Sam with his award.
In turn, Hutchinson gave the lucky duo their bagful of SWFC treats after purchasing the winning programme on Monday 2 January.
Hutchinson said: “I want to thank everyone who has voted for me and for supporting me.
“To win this award three out of five times means a lot and long may it continue! They can vote for me again next time too if they want!
“They are the people we are all trying to impress and they play a massive part in all our games. We want to go out there and perform for them.
“I’ve always said it, but they are great fans. They have always been good to me and I want to thank them for that.”
