Jose Semedo has extended his stay at Sheffield Wednesday.
The popular midfield man has signed a new one-year contract at Hillsborough.
Having put pen to paper on the new deal, Semedo now enters his sixth season at the club.
The 31-year-old initially joined the Owls ahead of the 2011/12 campaign which saw Wednesday gain promotion to the Championship and the midfielder scoop a host of accolades including the club’s Player of the Year.
A fan favourite both on and off the pitch, Semedo has made a total of 156 appearances for the Owls.
