Sheffield Wednesday will travel to Premier League side Middlesbrough in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The draw was made on Monday evening at the BT Tower in London live on BBC2 and BT Sport 1.
Third round ties will take place over the first weekend of 2017, between 6-9 January.
Ticket and travel details will be announced in due course.
