In-form striker Lucas Joao says Wednesday head into their Capital One Cup quarter final clash without any fear.
The Owls face Premier League side Stoke City at The Britannia Stadium on Tuesday and go into the clash as underdogs.
But that is not for the first time this season in the competition.
Wednesday have already knocked out top tier opposition in previous rounds against the odds, with Newcastle and Arsenal falling to the Owls.
With a place in the semi finals at stake, Joao said:
“They are a team from the Premier League so it will be difficult because they have a lot of quality.
“But we will go there to try to win and we believe that we can.
“Stoke have quality players but we don’t fear them. We will do everything we can to win.”
