- Owls travel to Alfreton, Ilkeston, York and Scunthorpe

Sheffield Wednesday can confirm friendly fixtures for the 2015/16 pre-season schedule.
The Owls will begin with a trip to Conference North side Alfreton Town on Saturday 11 July (3.00pm).
Wednesday then travel to Ilkeston to take on the Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit on Wednesday 15 July (7.45pm).
The Owls will once again face League 2 side York City at Bootham Crescent, on Saturday 18 July (3.00pm).
The two sides met last season in a warm-up fixture for 2014/15 when 2,000 Wednesday fans made the trip to witness a 2-0 travelling triumph.
The club will then host the hugely popular Owls in the Park event on Sunday 19 July at Hillsborough Park from 11.00am to 5.30pm.
Supporters of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of family entertainment at this superb occasion unique to SWFC.
The Owls’ contingent will then head to Europe the following week in Portugal for the five-day training camp from Wednesday 22 to Monday 27 July.
Wednesday will face Portuguese side Sporting Clube de Braga on Friday 24 July at Estadio da Nora, Ferreiras, Albufeira (7.30pm local time).
Upon the squad’s return to these shores, the Owls will take on Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Wednesday 29 July (7.45pm) and round off their pre-season campaign with a home clash against St Mirren.
The Scottish Championship side will wrap up Wednesday’s summer schedule at Hillsborough on Saturday 1 August, one week before the Owls face Bristol City in the S6 Championship curtain-raiser.
