Young Owl to be recognised by club

20 May 2015

Sheffield Wednesday are on the lookout to award one young fan who has shown an outstanding level of community commitment.

New for 2015, the award, the SWFC Young Community Champion, recognises one Sheffield Wednesday fan who has gone above and beyond for the local community.

This could be from helping out at a local charity to assisting with a vulnerable family member to working with the elderly or disabled to fundraising for good causes.

Recognised by Sheffield Wednesday, the award will be handed to the young person who most impresses us with their outstanding contribution to the community.

The lucky winner will be awarded with a trophy by an Owls player at the club’s annual community day, Owls in the Park on Sunday 19 July.

To enter, head over to our official Facebook, find the competition entry and comment with your competition submission.

You can nominate yourself or someone else who you think could be worthy of the prize. Your entry must include the name of the nominee and the reason why you/they should be named the ‘SWFC Young Community Champion.’

Entrants must be aged 16 and under. The competition ends on Friday 22 May at 12:00pm.

Good luck!
