Oldham: Oldham's Jordan Slew could be given his debut after joining the Latics on a six-month loan deal from Blackburn.
Fellow loanee Lee Croft will also be pushing for a starting place after returning for a second spell at Boundary Park.
Boss Paul Dickov has a fully fit squad to choose from as his team seek to continue their pre-season form, which included a 2-1 win over Premier League champions Manchester City.
Owls: Wednesday midfielder Chris Lines (groin) will miss the game but otherwise Dave Jones has no further injury concerns.
