Pre-season in Portugal begins
The Owls’ travelling contingent landed safely in Portugal on Wednesday afternoon.
The 30+ party checked into the team hotel just after midday as Dave Jones continues his preparations for the 2012-13 Championship campaign.
The Wednesday chief will oversee twice-daily sessions at the training camp base across Europe before the Owls play the first of their two overseas friendlies.
First up are Portugese giants Sporting Lisbon on Sunday before newly-promoted Premiership side Reading face Wednesday two days later.
Both games take place at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira, with kick-offs pencilled in for 8.00pm.
