Owls skipper Glenn Loovens has spoken highly of Sam Hutchinson’s contribution to the team.
The former Chelsea man produced a sterling performance in the midweek clash with Barnsley and also notched his second goal of the season in the 2-0 win.
The captain has heaped praise on Hutchinson, who he says is vital for the team.
“What he brings into the midfield is a lot of aggression and we know how important he is,” Loovens said.
“With the aggression he has in the tackles, he clears so much away for the defence which makes our job a lot easier.
“I thought he also did brilliant as well as a centre half, so it shows you what kind of player he is, that wherever you put him he will do a job for the team.”
