Owls captain Tom Lees is back out on the training pitch after a period on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old is well on the road to recovery and manager Garry Monk says he is delighted to have the defender back out at Middlewood Road.
The skipper will not be available for the clash against his former club Leeds this weekend but will be in full training on Friday.
Monk said: “Tom did part of the training today and is back in full training tomorrow.
“He is going to need a period of building up his football fitness. He won’t be available for Saturday but we’re delighted to have him back out on the pitches.
“As I said, it’s just about building his football fitness now and bringing him back into contention.”
