Wednesday’s full focus is on this weekend’s return to Hillsborough and making it back-to-back home wins as Millwall head to S6.
The Owls notched a first victory of the season last time out at Hillsborough against Rotherham and manager Danny Röhl wants the same feelings again on Saturday.
In the weeks since Röhl’s arrival at the club, there has been a notable uplift across the board and particularly in the performances on the pitch.
“It is a pleasure for me to be part of this club and I have the feeling in this city and the stadium that everyone is on the same page,” the manager said.
“I can see the fans are happy about our performances over the last four weeks and I think this is a good signal.
“We are on a process and it’s good to hear the supporters are happy with me but in the end it’s all about results.
“We need good results, we need points and I will be more happy if we take something on Saturday, then we can sing all together!
“I think we can create a good energy with our fans and I hope for this on Saturday.
“Against Rotherham we had the feeling on the pitch and beside the pitch that we are one group and we do this together.
“This is what we need again on Saturday.”
