Danny Röhl wants a reaction from his side this weekend as Wednesday host Coventry.
It was a tough clash on the South Coast last time out as the Owls suffered a first defeat in four games against promotion-chasing Southampton.
A big trait of the Owls under Röhl has been his side’s ability to quickly reset and bounce back from setbacks.
As Wednesday prepare to face another of the Championship’s form sides in Coventry, the Wednesday boss said:
“It’s about us going forward, getting to our basics and doing things better.
“I think at first everybody was a little disappointed after the game because we wanted to show our performance from the last weeks.
“Now it’s about showing a reaction, we spoke about some points that we have to improve and what we have to do.
“We have challenges ahead, what is important is what we can do now and what we can change. We can’t change the past but we can change the future.
“It has been a tough week, a lot of challenges beside the pitch too, and as a manager you want to give 100% to all the different areas.
“When you get a defeat, you have to go forward, learn, do it better and the next success will come.”
