Iké Ugbo has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for February.
The Canadian has been in fine form since joining the Owls on loan from French club Troyes in January, with six goals to his name from nine outings in blue and white.
Five of the striker’s goals came in February, contributing to our excellent current run of five wins in six games.
In the second month of 2024, Ugbo netted braces against Birmingham City and Bristol City, either side of a goal in our 2-0 away win over Millwall.
The 25-year-old is nominated alongside Leeds United’s Ilya Gruev, Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson and Norwich City’s Josh Sargent.
The winner will be decided by an EFL panel and announced this Friday, 8 March.
